In the group were 21 couples who diligently listened and cooperated as Mr. Noel  Langu from Family Life Apostolate office, and Mrs. Lucy Lavu from archdiocese of Port Moresby facilitated the workshop.

The attendees were encouraged to use the NFP method rather than artificial means to plan their families in order to have healthy children and a happy family.

“God designed the human body beyond human understanding and so we must understand the changes that take place in a woman’s body to plan when to have children because they are God’s blessings”, said Mrs Lavu.

Menfolk were encouraged not only built resilience but also enhance self-confidence as they learnt to speak the language of a woman's body in order to open to life and navigate challenges with the cycle of a woman. The workshop gave them opportunity to dialogue with an honest sharing because the space is theirs.

“The gift of Sexuality is something that is meant to be used to unite and pro-creative”, said Mrs Lavu.

The workshop concluded with happy couples going back home able to openly communicate about planning to welcome God’s biggest blessing in their union - Children.
